GAC recently completed this 51,074 square foot addition to Vernon Elementary School. The renovation comprises of three (3) new buildings as well as a bus loop / student drop-off area and covered walkway facilties.

Gulf Coast Community College selected GAC Contractors to construct their $11.4M Public Safety Building that will house Bay County's Emergency Operations Center. This 50,000 square foot facility, which is designed to withstand 200 m.p.h. wind speeds, will implement the latest techological advancements in emergency preparation and response. This point of command will serve as the "nerve center" for the County in the event of a catastrophe. Construction is scheduled to be completed in the 3rd quarter of 2009.

A groundbreaking celebration for Gulf Coast Community College’s Advanced Technology Center was held June 24, 2010. College officials, trustees, planners from Florida Architects, and other guests ceremonially broke ground for the new $35 million facility, designed from the ground up to expand and grow high-tech learning opportunities. GAC / H. J. High will serve as the Construction Manager for this exciting new project.

On August 26, 2009, Bay District Schools ratified the selection of GAC Contractors to serve as the Construction Manager for the for Merritt Brown Middle School Renovation Project. This approximate $6mm project will be spearheaded by the very capable team of Scott Joiner and Dalton Parker. GAC is excited about the commencement of this project and looks forward to adding the Merritt Brown Middle School Renovation Project to their list of successfully completed projects for the District.

GAC Contractors served as the Construction Manager for the JRA designed Bay Haven Charter Academy. Based on the strength of the Team, the project was recognized by Southeast Construction Magazine as the "Best K-12 Public School Project" in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, & South Carolina.

This renovation project which involved nine (9) science classrooms was awarded by the School Board at their May 10, 2006 meeting and was completed by the opening day of school on August 2, 2006 (84 calendar days).

GAC was selected to renovate the facilities for "The Sound of the Southland" (Band) and the Mosley High School Choir. This time sensitive project was completed in an expeditious manner to minimize the impacts on Mosley's operations.
